CM Omar Abdullah Throws Open Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden in Srinagar
Srinagar, Mar 25 :Chief Minister Omar Abdullah threw open Asia’s largest Tulip Garden in Srinagar, marking the start of the annual bloom that draws thousands of visitors.
Located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, overlooking Dal Lake, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden spans over 30 hectares and features millions of tulips in vibrant colors.
Established in 2007 to boost tourism, the garden has become a major attraction in Kashmir. The inauguration signals the beginning of the tourist season, with officials anticipating a record number of visitors this year. (KNS)
