Clashes During CASO At Arigam, Pulwama

Pulwama: Clashes erupted between government forces and youth’s after government forces launched CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) at Adde Mohalla of Arigam village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The government forces launched CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) in the village following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Reports said, soon after the CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) was launched in the village, youth’s took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces.

Government forces retaliated with teargas shelling to disperse protestors, which triggered clashes.

Search operation was going on when this report was filed.
