Civilian Injured In Firing Incident In Niloora, Pulwama
Pulwama: A civilian was injured in forces at Niloora village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday evening.
As per locals, “Army casper vehicle of 55RR was passing through the area when it was stoned by youths near Jamia Masjid Niloora which was retaliated by army resulting in injury to a civilian”
The injured civilian has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Mir, a Resident of Litter village in Pulwama district. He was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.
However police official said, “He tried to run away in a suspected condition during Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in the area, army fired upon him which result bullet injury in his leg.”
