CIK Raids 22 Locations Across Kashmir, Targets Mule Bank Accounts in Cyber Fraud and Terror Funding Case
Srinagar, Jan 7 : Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Wednesday launched a massive crackdown on mule accounts as part of an ongoing cyber terror probe, carrying out raids at around 22 locations across the Kashmir Valley, officials said.
Top official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner that raids are being conducted at around 22 locations across Kashmir.
Out of the total locations, nearly 15 raids are being conducted in Srinagar alone, while the remaining searches were carried out in other districts of Kashmir, they said.
The action is aimed at tracing and disrupting financial networks allegedly being used to facilitate cyber terror activities, they said.
The raids were underway at the time of filing this report, and further details are awaited as the investigation progresses. (KNC)
