Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus Casts Vote, Visits Polling Stations
Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus cast his vote in the 13th parliamentary election and referendum on Sunday.
After voting, he visited several polling stations in the capital to observe the voting process and assess the overall situation. During his visits, he spoke with voters, election officials, and security personnel to get a firsthand view of polling activities.
Speaking briefly to reporters, Yunus said the election and referendum were important steps in strengthening democratic practices and encouraged citizens to participate freely and peacefully.
Voting began in the morning across the country amid heightened security measures. Election officials said polling was largely peaceful, with voters turning out at centers in both urban and rural areas.
The parliamentary election and referendum are being held nationwide, with authorities expecting results to be announced after the completion of vote counting.
