CCIK President Urges Uninterrupted Basic Services, Extends Muharram Greetings
Srinagar, July 4: President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK), Tariq Ghani, has urged the administration to ensure uninterrupted essential services during the ongoing Muharram days across the Valley.
Ghani called for seamless supply of drinking water, continuous electricity, and well-equipped medical camps along all Muharram processional routes and at Imambaras. He said that such arrangements are vital to support the mourners and maintain the sanctity of this important religious period.
He emphasized that Muharram is not just a religious event but a symbol of sacrifice, truth, and justice, and forms a significant part of Kashmir’s cultural and spiritual identity.
Ghani also extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Muharram, praying for peace, prosperity, and unity in the region.
