Bushra Nida from Kulgam won Kalam’s Golden Awards 2021

Srinagar: Bushra Nida, a young writer from Kanipora area in Kulgam district in South Kashmir has won the prestigious Kalam’s Golden Awards 2021 as the best writer of the year.

Kalams Award is named after the 11th President of India and aerospace scientist A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. It is awarded in recognition of contributions on scientific development, humanities and students’ welfare.

Bushra has so far written two books namely “Tulips of Feelings” and “The Davy” and is writing her third book on equation E= mc².

Bushra quoting to Asia News Network (ANN News) said, “I am very happy that i won Kalam’s Golden Awards 2021.

“My ist book Tulips of feeling got registered in India Book of Records as a soulful poem by teenager and my second book The Davy, ist poetry book on the periodic table, has got registered under Golden Book of World Records and Asia Book of Records,” Bushra said adding “The Davy, a book of 80 pages, is based on properties of all elements of the periodic table in poetry just like rhymes which are very easy to remember for students”.

“M R Pandey, a world famous writer with six world records has also written my biography under title Siraj-e-Kashmir,” she said adding “I am writing my third book on equation E= mc² in a unique way”.

Bushra further said that I prefer to write on science topics and write to discover what i know. I am very ambitious about my contribution to scientific knowledge and I believe that either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.
