Budgam Encounter: Militant’s body recovered after four days
Srinagar: After four days of searches, militant’s body was found in a Nallah in Chek Kawoosa area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The slain militant as per sources has been identified as Aqib Lone, a resident of Aglar, Shopian and believed to be affiliated with JeM (Jaish-e-Mohammad).
He suffered a bullet injury during a brief gunfight that broke out between government forces and militants at Kawoosa village in Budgam district on September 7 after which he had jumped into to Nallah.
Since then, the searches were goings-on and the body was recovered late last night, reported News Agency GNS.
