Bright Sunny Morning In J&K After Days Of Inclement Weather
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a bright, sunny Monday morning after days of inclement weather in the state, the weather office said.
Sanam Lotus, Director of the regional MET Department, said the weather would remain dry in the state during the next four to five days after which another spell of rain and snow is likely to occur.
Srinagar city recorded minus 6.4 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam minus 14.6 and Gulmarg minus 12.0 as the minimum temperatures on Monday.
Leh town recorded minus 16.2 degrees Celsius and Kargil minus 18.0 as the night’s lowest temperatures.
Jammu city recorded 3.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 4.4, Batote minus 1.3, Bannihal minus 1.5 and Bhaderwah minus 2.8 as the minimum temperatures.
