Booking begins for Downtown T20 League, 2 DRS for team in inning in this edition

Srinagar, Sep 6: After successfully holding the first edition of professionally live TV telecast of cricket tournament, ANN News has announced booking for second edition of cricket league.

Sixteen teams will participate in the league titled Downtown T20 league organized by ANN News in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.

The live Tv telecast will have a decision review system (DRS) with each playing team having two DRS in one inning.

Earlier, ANN News organized the TCI J&K Qualifiers League in collaboration with J&K Sports Council. It was the first professional cricket tournament in which the DRS system was used with on field umpires and teams refereeing decisions to TV umpire.

“The booking for the second edition has begun. We have made more improvements for DRS with ball tracking, boundary check and more that would be loved and appreciated by players and cricket lovers in Kashmir,” said organizers.

The entry in the tournament is based on first come first listed basis and only first 16 teams making entry will participate in the tournament.
