Bollywood actor-director Tariq Shah passes away

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor-director Tariq Shah passed away today on April 3. He breathed his last on Saturday morning in a private hospital in Mumbai.

Reportedly, late Tariq Shah had been suffering from kidney ailments for the past two years. And, he was on dialysis.

Tariq Shah is known for directing the 1995 film Janam Kundli. The film starred Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna, Reena Roy and Anupam Kher.

The veteran and wife Shoma Anand have a daughter, Sarah Shah.

Tariq Shah is predominantly known for his work in Janam Kundlu and 1980 show Kadwa Sach.

He has also directed 1990 release Baahar Aane Tak. Shah last featured in the film Mumbai Central. The actor played the role of a Tailor master in the 2016 release.

According to a report on IMDb, Tariq Shah also acted in Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
