Blankets and other stuff gutted in Yateem Trust fire incident in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 14: Large number of blankets and other stuff gutted in a fire incident at a Yateem Trust here in old Srinagar city.

Sources told KNT that fire broke out in Almasoomeen Yateem Trust, located in Zadibal Srinagar area that damaged a large number of new blankets and other stuff present in the Yateem Trust.

Sources added that fire was brought under control by fire tender men with the assistance of local Police.

Although there was no loss of life or injury to anyone, but the Trust suffered heavy losses. The cause of fire was short circuit.

Pertinently, Almasoomeen Yateem Trust is a non-government, apolitical organization established as a recognized charitable trust with a clear aim and declared objective to serve the orphans, widows, ill, down-trodden and other needy persons. (KNT)
