BJP Unveils New 17-Member Spokesperson Panel in J&K; Er. Sahil Bashir Among Prominent Young Faces

Srinagar, Sep 01: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday announced a fresh 17-member panel of spokespersons, with Er. Sahil Bashir emerging as one of the most prominent and youthful faces on the list.

The announcement was made by J&K BJP President Sat Sharma after extensive consultations with the party’s central leadership, including National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh.

 

 

Er. Sahil Bashir, known for his sharp articulation and grassroots connect, has been tasked with carrying the party’s voice to the people, particularly the youth of the Union Territory. His inclusion highlights the BJP’s strategy of combining seasoned political voices with energetic young leaders to strengthen its media and public outreach.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Party insiders say the new panel is part of a broader communication revamp aimed at countering opposition narratives and amplifying the BJP’s development agenda in J&K. The spokespersons will represent the party across print, electronic, and digital media platforms.

 

 

 

The panel also features a mix of senior leaders, experienced media faces, and emerging voices—reflecting the BJP’s effort to strike a balance between continuity and change.

 

 

With this new lineup, the BJP leadership hopes to sharpen its narrative ahead of upcoming political challenges in the Union Territory, ensuring consistent messaging on governance, security, and socio-economic reforms.
