BJP District President Booked for Assault, Other Offences

Srinagar, June 3: Police have booked the BJP district president for assaulting a man.

According to the complainant, the incident occurred when the brother of BJP district president Pulwama stopped his vehicle without any reasonable cause and proceeded to beat him severely.

Shortly after, the district president himself arrived at the scene and joined in the assault.

As per complaint, the locals saved him from the clutches of accused.

Police have registered the case and investigation has been initiated.
