BJP condemns Kulgam killing
Srinagar, Aug 6: Jammu and Kashmir BJP on Thursday condemned the killing of a Sarpanch Sajad Khamday in Kulgam.
BJP district Srinagar spokesperson Tanveer Bhat said in less than 48 hours it was second attack on BJP people.
“Earlier Arif Khan, another BJP leader from Kulgam district was critically injured in another attack. In valley BJP men continue to bleed,” reads handout.
It added that this cherry picking of our Karikartas and targeting them has given reasons to question all those anti- nationals who are behind this deadly plot that is it in Kashmir, who holds a contrarian view met this type of fate.
“All those BJP people who got martyred were political activists, unarmed , indefensible& unguarded. The only thing they were having was there political ideology,” Bhat said in handout.
he has added that for him, to hold a different political opinion and to have those kind of tragic ends are never any characteristic of sensible and civilian society.
“Irrespective of our religious beliefs , we have fundamental right to hold an idea , to nurture that idea, to join the organization whose ideology is in tune with ours. We have every right to express ourselves,” it adds.
“My heartfelt condolences to the family of Sajad Khanday , I pray for speedy recovery of Arif Khan and in a same breath, my humble submission to the higher ups of security and police officials, although they are doing commendable job but kindly ramp up your efforts, gear up your machinery so that these type of incidents took a halt,” it added.
