Bijbehara Encounter: Slain militants identified
Anantnag: The two militants who were killed in an nocturnal gunfight between government forces and militants at Bagender Mohalla of Bijbehara town in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district have been identified.
They have been identified as Safdar Amin of Zirpora, Bijbehara and Dr Burhan of SK Colony Anantnag.
Earlier, government forces had launched Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Bagendar Mohalla of Bijbehara following the inputs about hiding of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure authorities snapped down mobile internet services in Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian district.
