Bharat Darshan Tour Organized by District Police Ramban Concludes; Students Shared Their Experiences

Ramban: On 13th of this month, a tour for the students of this District was flagged off by SSP Ramban Sh. Haseeb ur Rehman which got concluded today and the touring students returned back to the district safely after visiting various historical/heritage sites in Delhi and Hyderabad.

It’s pertinent to mention here that under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. Of India, a tour for 150 students from the district was organized in which students from far flung areas of the district belonging to poor families were selected.

The students traveled from Ramban upto Jammu in departmental buses. Therefrom, the students completed their journey upto Delhi via Train.

In their two day’s stay at Dehli, best possible food and accommodation was made available to them and they were made to visit Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Chanakyapuri National Police Memorial/Museum, Red Fort, Rajpath and India Gate.

From Delhi to Hyderabad, the students completed their journey by air and in their three days stay at Hyderabad, best possible accommodation/food was made available to them.

In Hyderabad, the students were made to visit Salarjung Museum, Char Minar, Golconda Fort, Lumbini Park, Hussain Sagar Lake, Central Mall and National Police Academy where they met with Director NPA Sh. Atul Karwal, IPS.

On return, the students traveled by air upto Delhi and from Delhi to Jammu in Sleeper buses. Organising the tour this way, the students experienced almost all modes of transportation which otherwise would have been almost impossible for them given the circumstances and terrain they are living in.

On their return to the district, an event was oganised at Ramban in order to know about their experiences of the tour. Event was attended by SSP Haseeb ur Rehman, Additional SP Sanjay Parihar, Dy SP DAR Ajay Jamwal, Dy SP Hqrs Asgar Malik, Dy SP (Prob) Sumit Sharma (caretaker), SHO Ramban and other members of district police Ramban.

The students in their feedback called this tour as one of the most memorable events of their lives which altogether changed their outlook and now onwards they shall be focusing on their goals in life. Some of them even got motivated for cracking UPSC and serve the country as IAS/IPS officers.

Their perception for Police force also got changed altogether.

SSP Ramban Sh Haseeb ur Rehman in his speech wished the students all the best for their future endeavours and promised to organize such events in future as well.
