Bear Attacked And Injured Three Persons In Southern Kashmir Including A Minor
Qazigund: Wild bear attacked and Injured three persons, including a minor in South Kashmir’s Manzmoh area of Qazigund at Kulgam district, official sources said.
The bear pounced on the Victims, are identified as Noori wife of Seidwali, Mukthar Ahmad son of Dawood and a minor which are identified as Muzamail Ahmad son of Dawood.
Reports said a wild bear attacked three persons including a minor when they was grazing his cattle in a forest area near his home.
The victims has been shifted to local hospital where from two persons shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for further treatment.
However, before the villagers could do anything, the bear attacked and wounded three persons. The wild animal later escaped back into the forest.
The man-animal conflict has recorded increase during the past few years because of human interference in the woods.
