Batamaloo Residents Accuse R&B Department Of Doing Sugar-Coating In The Name Of Macdamization

Srinagar: The residents of Kashi Mohalla, Batamaloo accused R&B department of doing sugar-coating in the name of macdamization on road from Kashi Mohalla, Driywani, Batamaloo upto Unani Hospital.

The local residents said this road had not been macdamized for long time. After long time authorities macdamized the road but not as per guidelines.

According to locals, “R&B department didn’t clear the base of the road between Kashi Mohalla, Driywani, Batamaloo to Unani Hospital.”

“They did not remove the dust and other materials to create strong base for black topping”, locals added.

R&B did a sugar-coating on the road and left. It will break open even with a slight rain and a bit traffic.

The local residents accused authorities of callous approach towards public workings and said, “it’s a sheer wastage of public money.”

Locals have appealed to the Governor to look into the matter and launch an inquiry to see how tax payers money is being wasted. (CITY FM JK)
