Bandipora man injured in family dispute succumbs
Srinagar: A man from Naidkhai village of this district who had sustained injuries during a family feud succumbed on Saturday, police said.
A police official identified the deceased as Ghulam Muhammad Waza. The official said police have registered a case (FIR No 72 of 2020) under section 341.
Reports said on Thursday Waza had some argument with his son-in-law over a family issue.
“During the argument, Waza was hit on his head, resulting in serious injury top him,” reports said.
Waza was rushed to a nearby hospital where from he was shifted to SKIMS.
“He succumbed to injuries today,” said the police official, adding police arrested the son-in-law of the deceased in connection with the incident and have started the investigation.
