Bandipora girl commits suicide at polytechnic college Ganderbal

Ganderbal: A 20-year old girl allegedly committed suicide in polytechnic college in Hartburu area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday afternoon.

Officials told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the girl name with-held from Chattiybadi area Bandipora ended her life by hanging herself in an examination hall in polytechnic college Ganderbal.

Following the incident, she was rushed to Sub District hospital where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

The hospital authorities confirmed about her death and said that after conducting all legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her family for last rites

An official said that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations were taken up (KNO)
