Autumn session: J&K Assembly to pay tributes to former governor Satya Pal Malik, others today

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will begin its nine-day autumn session on Thursday.

According to an official communication, the proceedings will commence with obituary references to several prominent leaders, including former Governor Satya Pal Malik.

As per the list of business issued by the Assembly Secretariat, Hon’ble Speaker Mr. Rahim Rather will make references on the sad demise of Satya Pal Malik, former minister Gulchain Singh Charak, and former legislators Dina Nath Bhagat, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Ramesh Arora, and Sardar Mohammad Akhlaq Khan.

The session will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Srinagar. — (KIMS)
