Atul Kumar Goel Is New DIG South Kashmir

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday late evening ordered transfers in the police department.

An order issued here by Home Department said that “in the interest of administration,” the following transfers and postings of Police officers are hereby ordered with immediate effect:

According to Home Department Order No. 173 -Home of 2019, Atul Kumar Goel, IPS (JK: 2004) DIG, NKR, Baramulla is transferred and posted as DIG, SKR Anantnag vice Amit Kumar, IPS, presently undergoing medical treatment, and whose orders of posting shall be issued separately.

Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS (JK: 2004) DIG, DKR, Range shall hold the charge of DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range in addition to his own duties.

Vivek Gupta, IPS (JK: 2007), l/C DIG, JSK, Range shall hold the charge of DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range in addition to his own duties.

Mohammad Suleman Choudhary, IPS (JK:2007) l/C DIG, Udhampur-Reasi Range is transferred and posted as l/C DIG, North Kashmir Range vice Atul Kumar Goel, IPS.
