On 19th August 2024, Mangal Singh was driving an Innova that carried 7 passengers from Katra to Jammu Railway Station. However, the vehicle was last seen crossing the Lakhanpur border at 3:00 PM on the same day. The last contact with the driver was at 1:30 PM on 19th August 2024.
CCTV footage from a toll plaza shows that the driver was not found driving the vehicle. Mangal Singh has been missing since then.
