Article 35A Rumour: Mehbooba calls for all party meeting, Farooq welcomes
Srinagar: PDP president and leader Mehbooba Mufti on Monday requested National Conference president Farooq Abdullah to call all party meeting because people are in fear amid rumours of scrapping of Article 35-A.
In a tweet Mehbooba Mufti said, “In light of recent developments that have caused a sense of panic amongst people in J&K, I’ve requested Dr Farooq Abdullah sahab to convene an all party meeting. Need of the hour is to come together & forge a united response. We the people of Kashmir need to stand up as one”.
In response to Mehbooba’s Tweet Farooq Abdullah said “he is positive about this and will call an all party meeting this week”. (City FM JK)
