Army soldier dies of cardiac arrest during CASO in Zainpora

Zainpora, Dec 12: A soldier of 1st Rashtriya Rifles died of cardiac arrest during cordon and search operation in Zainpora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday morning.

Sources said, a Army soldier namely Abdul Majeed of Ist Rashtriya Rifles died of cardiac arrest during CASO in Zainpora.

They said the soldier was immediately shifted to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

A police office also confirmed the death of the Army soldier due to cardiac arrest.
