Arms, ammunition recovered in Budgam village
Budgam: Government forces on Saturday recovered arms and ammunition from a village in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said, Budgam police along with Army’s 53 RR launched a search operation in forest area of Shanipora village in Khansaab Budgam and recovered arms and. ammunition.
Police in a statement said, “During search incriminating material of proscribed outfit Lashker-e-Taiba, following arms and ammunition were recovered (i) Chinese Pistol 9 MM= 01 number (ii) UBGL= 01 number (iii) UBGL Rounds= 04 number (iv) Pistol Magazines = 04 number (v) Radio Set Antina = 03 number (vi) 09 Volt Battery= 01 number (vii) 7.62mm Rounds= 03 number (viii) 9 mm Rounds= 98 number (ix) Bonnet Cover= 01 number”
“A case FIR Number 44/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Khansaab and investigation is taken up,” the statement added.
