ANN News Program “Udaan – Umeed Ki Kiran” Becomes a Beacon of Hope for Students Across Kashmir

Srinagar, October 9, 2025:

ANN News’ inspirational initiative “Udaan – Umeed Ki Kiran” has emerged as a groundbreaking program that is transforming the educational landscape across districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The program, which focuses on helping students overcome exam stress, anxiety, and fear, has become a movement of hope and confidence among young learners.

Conducted in every district, Udaan – Umeed Ki Kiran has witnessed the participation of hundreds of students and teachers, marking a historic step toward nurturing positive thinking, self-belief, and national awareness among youth. The show also emphasizes understanding India’s history, combating misinformation, and promoting a healthy mindset.

For many students, this program has been a life-changing experience. The opportunity to appear live on television and share their thoughts has given them newfound motivation and pride.

A student from Sopore, who participated as a young speaker, shared his excitement:

“It was a great opportunity for me to speak in front of the camera. When my family and relatives called me after seeing me on TV, I felt I had achieved something big. I wish another program happens in my district — I would love to speak again. I cannot express how proud I felt seeing myself on TV.”

Another student from Kupwara, studying in Class 12th, expressed deep gratitude:

“In my life, I had never seen a program where I could speak on stage and then watch myself on TV the same evening. It boosted my morale and gave me confidence to dream big — I now feel inspired to prepare for the IAS. I’m so thankful to the organizers of this wonderful initiative.”

A female student from Baramulla narrated her emotional journey from fear to confidence:

“I was very shy and scared to speak in front of anyone. When my teacher told me that a media team was coming and I had to speak, I was nervous. I told my father about it, and he was so happy — his happiness gave me courage. The next day, when I spoke and later saw myself on TV, I felt proud and strong. When my cousin called to say I spoke well, it was the happiest moment of my life.”

Teachers too are deeply moved by the impact of the program. A teacher from Kupwara remarked:

“This is not just an event — it’s a revolution. It’s unbelievable how it is changing the mindset of our students. It must continue. Such initiatives help young budding students prepare for future exams with confidence and positivity.”

Through “Udaan – Umeed Ki Kiran,” ANN News has successfully created a platform that empowers students to express themselves freely, dream big, and overcome self-doubt. The program continues to inspire hope, build emotional resilience, and instill the belief that every child has the potential to fly high — with the right guidance and positivity.

The management of ANN News said that the success of “Udaan – Umeed Ki Kiran” would not have been possible without the support of Parwaaz Academy, calling them the “heroes of the show.” Their moral and expert support played a crucial role in making the program a reality.

management added, “This program demands a lot of effort and support, but we are doing our best to help and engage students in a positive environment.”

Parwaaz Academy’s Managing Director also appreciated the initiative, saying, “We will continue to give our full support to this program. It is truly commendable, and our main motive is to help students move forward and make our country proud.”
