ANN IMPACT: Authorities cleared snow on Imamsahib, Shopian road

Shopian, Feb 03: Day after ANN reporter Saima Khan highlighted the issue of partial snow clearance on a road at Imamsahib area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Kashmir’s only news Channel Asia News Network authorities came into action.

As per information received by ANN Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse ordered Mechanical and R&B division of Shopian for fully snow clearance and Widening of Imamsahab road stretch which connect Shopian town to Bijbehera Anantnag.

After receiving the directions from DC Shopian, AEE Mechanical and AEE R&B Division Shopian swung into action and depute JCB machine which removed the frost and snow on the said road and make it fully cleared and widened for public movement.

Meanwhile, locals of the area hailed the efforts made by Shopian authorities and ANN News Channel who highlighted the issue first.
