Anantnag Police Organizes Drug Awareness Programme at Model School Akingam Achabal

In its continued efforts to combat the growing threat of drug abuse and to raise awareness among the youth, Police Station Achabal today organized a Drug Awareness Programme at Model School Akingam, Anantnag.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, staff, and members of the local community. The aim of the initiative was to educate the young generation about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.

During the event, officers from Police Station Achabal interacted with students and highlighted the psychological, physical, and social consequences of drug addiction. The speakers emphasized the role of youth in building a safe and drug-free society and urged them to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to drugs in their surroundings.
