Anantnag Police Organized Bharat Darshan Tour for 80 Students

In a commendable initiative aimed at promoting national integration and broadening the horizons of young minds, Anantnag Police today flagged off a group of 80 students for a Bharat Darshan tour. The students, hailing from various schools across district Anantnag, will visit prominent historical and cultural landmarks in Mumbai and Kolkata.
The flag-off ceremony was held with great enthusiasm at DPL Anantnag, where DIG SKR, Shri Javid Iqbal Matoo-IPS, along with SSP Anantnag Shri Amritpal Singh, graced the occasion and extended their best wishes to the students.
This educational tour, under the Civic Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir Police, is designed to expose students to the diverse cultural heritage and development of the country. It provides an opportunity for the youth to learn about the history, culture, and progress of different regions, thereby fostering a sense of unity and national pride.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG SKR Shri Javid Iqbal Matoo emphasized the importance of such exposure visits in shaping the personality of young students and instilling in them values of discipline, confidence, and patriotism. SSP Anantnag also encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity and return with enriching experiences and new perspectives.
