Anantnag Police Crack Down on Banned Organizations with Extensive Raids

In a major crackdown on Proscribed organizations, Anantnag Police conducted extensive raids across the district as part of an ongoing investigation to dismantle terror-linked networks and curb unlawful activities.

The coordinated searches targeted residences, shops, and premises of individuals suspected of having links with banned organizations. The key locations included:

 Mattan Chowk, Anantnag – Residence of Ashaq Hussain Narchor (Tehreek-e-Huriyat)
 Waghama – Residence of Fayaz Ahmad Dass (Tehreek-e-Huriyat)
 Satkipora, Srigufwara – Residence of Mohd Rafiq Dar (Tehreek-e-Huriyat)
 Bijbehara – Residence of Ghulam Nabi Sumji (Muslim Conference)
 Kadipora, Anantnag – Residence of Manzoor Ahmad Misger (Muslim Conference)
 Malaknag, Kadipora, Anantnag – Residences of Mukthar Ahmad Sofi & Mukthar Ahmad Waza (Jammu Kashmir People’s League)
 Zaldoora, Dooru – Residence of Mohd Shafi Khan (Hurriyat)
