Ammunition Recovered In Ganderbal Forests, Say Forces
GANDERBAL: The Government forces on Wednesday claimed to have recovered ammunition from Naranag forests in Kangan area of Ganderbal district in Central Kashmir.
Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir News Trust reported that the noctornal search operation was launched by Indian Army’s 34 Assam Rifles along with J&K Police in Naranag forests and recovered 2 empty magazines of AK-47 rifle, a grenade and 30 rounds of assault rifle.
Meanwhile, police has registered an FIR vide number 46 /2021 under section 7/25 Indian Arms Act 3/4 Explosive Act at Police Station Kangan in this regard.
