Amit Shah chairs high-level security meet on J&K in Delhi
Srinagar, June 03 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday chaired a high-level security meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, following recent targeted civilian killings in the Kashmir Valley.
Reports reaching *Kashmir News Service (KNS)* said that the meeting, which was attended by top security officials and Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha started at around 3 pm today at North Block of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
They said that besides LG Sinha, the meeting was attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Army Staff Manoj Pande and Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla.
The meeting was also attended by Director General of CRPF Kuldeep Singh, BSF Chief Pankaj Singh, J&K police DGP Dilbag Singh and other senior officails.
The meeting was called in wake of the recent targeted civilian killings including that of minority community members in the Kashmir Valley.
On Thursday, a bank manager from Rajasthan was killed inside his office chamber in Kulgam district and barely hours after a labourer from Bihar working in a brick kiln was also shot dead, while another was injured in Chadoora area of Budgam.
On Tuesday, a female Hindu teacher was shot dead inside a government school in Kulgam district.
Following the killings of minority community members in the Valley, Kashmiri migrants employees have been demanding relocation, safety and secure postings in the Valley.
On Thursday, LG Manoj Sinha was summoned to Delhi by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in wake of the targeted civilians killings in the Valley. (KNS)
