Altaf Thakur extends warm greetings to people on Shab-e- Qadr eve

Prays for peace, prosperity, tranquility in J&K, Country; Says night of forgiveness, blessings unique opportunity yo seek Allah’s bounties

Srinagar, April 06: Senior BJP leader and party’s J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur extended his warm wishes to people of UT and rest of the country on the auspicious occasion of night of blessings Shab-e-Qadr also known as Laitul Qadr.

In a statement issued here, Thakur said that Shabe Qadr is a night considered to be equal to praying for 1000 months, which provides unique opportunity to faithful to seek forgiveness from sins and Allah’s bounties.

Thakur said shabe Qadr is a unique and a pious occasion which the Almighty Allah Chose to reveal Quran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to enlighten the mankind to lead them at the path of righteousness and truthfulness.Describing the Shabi Qader as a unique gift to mankind from Almighty Allah, Thakur said this night provides the best opportunity to pray for whole night seek forgiveness & blessings from Almighty Allah. He hoped that this occasion will usher in an era of complete peace and overall development of the UT and rest of the country, he added.
