Allen Career Institute launches study centre in Srinagar, PSAJK welcomes private investment in quality education
Srinagar: Leading IIT-JEE and Pre-Medical coaching institute of Kota, Allen Career Institute, today opened its study centre in Srinagar.
The study centre, located at Naseem Bagh, Behind Kashmir University in Srinagar, marks Allen’s foray into the Jammu & Kashmir. The institute now has a pan India presence with its 26th study centre in Srinagar.
G N Var, President Private Schools’ Association J&K was the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony, which was also addressed from Kota by Brajesh Maheshwari, Director Allen Career Institute & many other senior dignitaries.
Var termed it as a good sign that private sector is investing in the education sector. “It is a big day for our education sector. Allen is undoubtedly at top of their field. They have been continuously producing toppers with their dedicated teachers, smart syllabus and method of teaching,” said Var.
“For such a facility our students used to go to Kota and study in blistering heat. Now they can avail the same facilities right here.”
The president PSAJK congratulated the Allen family for deciding to open study centre in Srinagar despite so much of negative news propagated about Kashmir.
“We fully know that the Allen won’t function as a business venture but as a socio-business venture will keep in mind the poor students also,” said Var.
“The most important is that with the help of Allen, our students will definitely achieve higher ranks at national level in the competitive exams.”
On the occasion Brajesh Maheshwari, Director Allen Career Institute said, “Students of Srinagar and surrounding areas, who are aspiring for success in repeated entrance exams like IIT-JEE, NEET-UG, JEE (Main), KVPY & many other National & International Olympiads, will surely get an advantage and will be empowered with stronger foundation through our classroom courses commencing from November 2020.”
Giving brief about Allen he said that this year, more than 1 lakh students took admission in classroom courses at Allen centres, including major strength at Kota centre alone, which is a testimony of the top-level trust on Allen courses among sincere students across India.
The classes will commence from November 2020. The meritorious students will be given scholarship upto 90% based upon their performance in Allen Scholarship Admission Test & SMART. The first scholarship test will be on 29 November 2020 for Class 10th to 11th moving students and 11 December 2020 for 12th appeared and passed students.
Support to Poor, Orphan and Underprivileged
Also following the mission and vision of delivering quality education to all along with special provision of to the underprivileged, economically challenged & talented students, 10% of the total intake in each class will be given free admission under poor and orphan quota on the recommendation of directorate of school education, Kashmir.
The inaugural session was also attended by Topper NEET 2020 Soyeb Aftab who created history by scoring 720/720 for the first time in National Medical Entrance Exam. He also shared his success mantra for scoring 720/720. He talked about his journey of success and how smart classes at Allen helped him. He said that studying 5-6 hours a day and remaining away from social distractions is key to success.
