All shops except dairies, chemists to be closed in Ahmedabad from midnight

Coronavirus Live Updates: Over 36 lakh people across the world have been infected with the coronavirus while 2.57 lakh people have died already. Coronavirus has claimed over 71,000 lives in the US while the total number of cases have crossed 12 lakh. At such a stage, US President Donald Trump has said the country has managed to flatten the curve and they are now in the next stage of the battle against the virus. In India, the total number of coronavirus cases have crossed 49,000 while over 1,600 people have died across the country. The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 17 while Telangana has extended the lockdown in the state till May 29. With the lockdown being relaxed across India, liquor shops have reopened in many states, including Delhi, triggering massive crowds that have sparked fears again.
