AGH militant associate arrested in Tral: Police

Pulwama: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate for Tral town in Pulwama district in South Kashmir.

He has been identified as Adil Ahmad Hajam, a resident of Ratsuna Tral. He was affiliated with (AGH) Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind militant outfit.

Police in a statement said, “Security forces arrested Militant associate of Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind militant outfit involved in providing shelter, logistics and other support to the AuGH Militants as well as in transporting of arms/ ammunition of the Militants in Tral area.”

“Incriminating material has been recovered from him which has been seized for the record purpose. A Case FIR number 72/2020 stands already registered against the said person in Police Station Tral under relevant sections of law”, the statement added.
