Refrain from Sharing or Reacting to Sensitive Content Irresponsibly”

It has been observed that certain individuals are posting or reacting irresponsibly to sensitive incidents on social media, including by sharing anti-national or Communal content or by posting mocking emojis related to the recent Red Fort incident in which innocent civilians were martyred.
The public is hereby advised to refrain from sharing, posting, or engaging with any such content that may hurt public sentiments, disturb peace, or undermine national unity.
Police Awantipora is closely monitoring social media accounts and online activities to detect and take action against those involved in spreading hate, misinformation, or disrespectful content.
General Public of Police District Awantipora are urged to use social media responsibly and to report objectionable material to the nearest police station. Strict legal action will be taken against violators under relevant laws.
