ADC Shopian Suspends 24 Employees For Unauthorised Absence From Duties
Shopian: In a surprise visit to various departments, Addittional Deputy Commissioner Shopian on Thursday suspended two dozen employees while issuing a show cause notice to nine others in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An order from office of Deputy Commissioner Shopian, number DCS/ADC-PS/19/711-24, reads that Addittional Deputy Commissioner alongwith Assistant Commissioner Revenue on 25-07-2019 conducted surprise visits to various government offices during which many employees were absent from their duties.
As such the concerned has directed suspension of 24 employees including 6 from FSC&CA, 3 from District Statistics and Evaluation Office, 6 from CMO, 2 from ACD office, 1 from DSWO, 2 from State Taxes Department, 2 from Chief Agriculture office and 2 from Floriculture department.
Meanwhile in a separate order number number DCS/ADC-PS/19/725-34, the office directed for the issuance of show cause notice to nine employees who according to the order were found ‘unauthorizedly absent from their duties’.
The employees include; one each from ACD, FSC&CA, Floriculture, District Information office, Asst. Drug Controller office and two each from Chief Agriculture Office and CMO office.
The order has directed the suspended employees to explain their position, why the action under rules shall not be taken against them, the reply must reach to the office of Deputy Commissioner, Shopian within seven days.
