DC Kupwara reviews functioning of RDD

KUPWARA, March 07:  Deputy Commissioner   Anshul Garg today reviewed the functioning of Rural Development Department (RDD) and progress achieved under various flagship schemes and developmental programmes here at a meeting.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development,   BDOs and other senior officers of the concerned departments.

Various issues particularly sanctions made under PMAY SBM, MGNREGA and its convergence with other schemes came up for discussion.

The DDC urged upon the officers and agencies to achieve the set targets before the end of the current financial year.

The DDC, while reviewing the achievements, directed the officers to mobilise men and machinery for public service and redressal of people’s grievances.

He asked BDOs to regularly visit their areas and demonstrate the desire and commitment in implementing the schemes in letter and spirit.

He called for educating BDOs about FTO, Geo tagging and furnish the daily based progress reports uploaded on MIS.
