Hybrid millitant among two killed in Kulgam encounter, two cops injured: IGP

Says injured cops evacuated to hospital, encounter going on

Srinagar, Apr 11 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar said that a hybrid militant was among two militants killed in an encounter that broke out in Kulgam district on Monday evening.

Kashmir zone police on its official Twitter handle, while quoting IGP said that one foreign militant alias Chacha and one hybrid have been killed in the ongoing encounter Khurbatpora village of Kulgam.

He also said that two policemen have also received injuries during the encounter and they have been evacuated to hospital, while encounter was going on.

Earlier, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Khurbatpora area of Kulgam today evening. (KNS)
