Police suspends Cop for bribe allegation at Tulip Garden, SHO transferred

Srinagar, Mar 27 : Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar Rakesh Balwal have suspended a cop and have attached the Station House Officer Nishat to DPL Srinagar for bribe allegations at Tulip garden in summer capital Srinagar

Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that one head constable of Srinagar police was suspended and SHO was attached to DPL and an enquiry has been initiated in this regard. “I personally visited spot to check allegations, Balwal said

“There were allegations of corruption by one Head constable. A preliminary inquiry has been started for these allegations, meanwhile the HC was suspended also. SHO is attached to DPL pending inquiry,” he told KDC.

Meanwhile, Iqbal was posted as new SHO Nishat with immediate effect.
