Two HM Militants Arrested By Police In Awantipora

Srinagar, November 14: Police and security forces in Awantipora on a credible input arrested two militants along with arms & ammunition.

At a Naka (checkpoint) established at Panzgam in Awantipora, Police and security forces intercepted two persons and during their checking recovered arms & ammunition from their possession which includes UBGL, grenades & live rounds and other incriminating materials.

The duo have been identified as Jan Mohammad Sheikh son of Abdul Aziz Sheikh resident of Kaweni Dugripora and Nasir-ul-Islam son of Shabir Ahmad Shah resident of Panzgam.

Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and preliminary investigation in the instant matter has revealed that the duo are affiliated with proscribed terror outfit HM. Further investigation in the instant matter is going on.
