GOC becomes viral hero in Kashmir after extending help to needy

Pulwama, Aug 4: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Victor Force Major General Rashim Bali has become hero of locals on South Kashmir due to his people-friendly approach and help to needy.
The GOC has remained in headlines for his people-friendly approach and helping Kashmiri youth, financially, educationally and in sports sector in South Kashmir’s districts.
His videos while interacting with common masses have also gone viral on social media with people in Kashmir hailing his efforts.
“By conducting such programs by Army is surely going to help in reducing gap and build good relationship between the Army and the youth of Kashmir which would strengthen peace, progress and prosperity in J&K,” one of the social media users posted on Facebook while hailing the GOC for holding public-outreach programmes.
In a latest, to instill a sense of unity and to promote essence of education amongst the orphan children, a book and other necessaries distribution drive was organised by Army in Pulwama.
The lectures on ways of reading, writing and learning formed part of the event.
In order to make the event interesting and to explore the inquisitiveness of students, the GOC Bali personally met the children and interacted with them.
The interaction made children enthusiastic who asked many questions to GOC about career opportunities in civil services, and other professional fields.
The GOC encouraged children to work hard and crack national level exams to serve the nation.
The event was organized at South Kashmir’s Yateem Welfare Society.
The GOC distributed all essential items including food, clothes, books and sports items among these orphan students and assures them what else they required will be provided on priority basis.
Locals told ANN News that the efforts of Army are appreciable who have always been there to risk their lives for the safety of civilians.
