Militant killed in gunfight in south Kashmir’s Kulgam: police
Srinagar July 25: A militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces in Munand area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, police said.
As per a police spokesperson, the encounter broke out this morning shortly after police and security forces cordoned the area following inputs about the presence of militants there.
In the exchange of fire, an unidentified militant was killed, the police spokesperson said.
He said that searches are going on at the encounter site.
