Meet budding artist Fazilla Jan from Srinagar

Srinagar: Fazilla Jan, hailing from Eid Gah area of Srinagar city is a young and budding sketch artist who has made mark in the field of art by making paintings of her favorite cartoons and other different things.
Her biggest achievement was the portrait of her dad that she made at the age of 15.
Since then art has become important part of her life as she represents her feelings and emotions through her art.
Besides art, Fazilla is studying in Class 11th at Kothibagh Higher Secondary School and is managing her studies and work very well.
Fazilla while talking to ANN News said, “I didn’t know anything about painting and took the help of YouTube to learn painting as there is no academy for art training where we can learn.”
Fazilla further said that earlier she used to draw cartoons and after that she learned to make portraits and draw the sketch of Virat Kohli, Burhan Wani, Sukhee, Waqar Khan , Ishfaq Kawa and others.
“My parents have always supported me and guided me and I’m working hard to get success and it’s the art that makes me feel happy as whatever I feel I draw it on a paper,” said Fazilla while talking to ANN News.
Fazilla said that every artist from Kashmir has inspired her and she wants to learn more and more to become successful in this field.
“I will learn calligraphy in future and also do a course in art after completing my 12th,” she added.
“The youth should give time to their talent and follow their dreams and remain intact to achieve their goals,” she said.
