Panchayat Ghar damaged in Safapora Ganderbal blaze

Ganderbal, Apr 19: A Panchayat Ghar was damaged in massive blaze in Safapora area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday evening.

The blaze as per the officials also houses Block Development Office and Nayabat office as well.

Officials told that the fire broke out around 08:45 PM, damaging the whole structure.

The fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby localities, witnesses said, adding that the building suffered an extensive damage.

In the incident, the records of Nayabat has got completely damaged, they said, adding that the cause of fire is being ascertained. (KNO)
