Will ensure strict adherence to COVID SOPs to make tourist season successful: Hoteliers

Srinagar, Mar 31: The hoteliers on Wednesday said that they will ensure the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed in letter and spirit, stating that they will ensure the tourist season is successful.

“We have already been directed by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir yesterday to follow the COVID guidelines in spirit,” Chairman Hoteliers Club Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya told the news agency Kashmir News Observer prior to a press conference here.

He said that Jammu and Kashmir, a tourist destination has been thrown open for the visitors amid pandemic and thus to prevent the COVID cases it the responsibility of hoteliers too to follow the SOPs.

“We have decided to follow the set guidelines and protocols in spirit so that the virus is fought in unison,” he said. (KNO)
