Man, who returned from Dubai to celebrate Eid, found dead in Rajouri

Rajouri, Jun 17: A body of a 50-year-old man was recovered from a stream in Manjkote area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

A police officer told GNS they have recovered the body soon after being informed about it lying in the nallah at Dhegrote near Bimber Gali (BG) area of Manjkote.

The officer identified the deceased as Mohd Sadiq (50 of Dhegrote.

“A case under 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigations were taken up to ascertain the actual cause of death,” the officer said.

“It has been learned that the man is missing from his home since last two days when he ( Sadiq) had gone to offer Friday nimaz but did not return home,” he said.

Sadiq had returned recently from Dubai to celebrate Eid with his family. He was in Dubai since last several years and was working there as a labourer,” he said. (GNS)
